A + R – Highgate House

28th November, 2019 |

Alex and Rachel’s wedding took place at the lovely church in Orlingbury, a gorgeous village where the Groom grew up. Whilst Alex got ready nearby, Rachel got ready at Highgate House, where the reception was also going to be held.

I really love the windows in the baronial hall at Highgate House, the light is just gorgeous and was perfect for some of the getting ready shots earlier in the day when the room was empty.

The family and friends were so lovely and so much fun, we had a good laugh with some of the group shots, despite the temperamental weather. We also highjacked the library for a few shots of the bridal party, it was so funny!

Later in the day, Rachel decided to throw her bouquet, this got rather competitive and we ended up with a rugby style line-out, bloody hilarious!

Rachel and her bride tribe also performed a dance routine during the evening party which was great and got everyone up on the dance floor, followed by a family tradition dance off and shots at the bar!

Such a good day had by all!
