Elaine and Michael’s Castle Wedding

I was delighted to be asked to be the wedding photographer for Elaine and Michael’s castle wedding. It was a stunning winter wedding just before Christmas. There was an excitable buzz surrounding Elaine and Michael’s day at the beautiful Cave Castle Hotel in Yorkshire. The bride and her bridesmaids had a wonderful large room to get ready in with a gorgeous view across the Yorkshire countryside.
Having travelled for the wedding I stayed the night before and was lucky enough to get to know the couple and their guests a little, all the guests were so kind and excited for the wedding and many had made a weekend of it.
The wedding itself went beautifully, I was unfortunately not allowed to photograph the ceremony, due to the policy of the local council, but it was an emotional ceremony. The party was in full swing before long and there were a few sore heads the following morning. The bridesmaids were loving the camera throughout the day, they even got the videographer to film a mannequin challenge at around midnight with the remaining guests and bride and groom.
