Jocelyn and Dan – Horwood House

10th January, 2018 |

Bridesmaids, Bride, shoes, putting your feet up

The wedding was held at Horwood House, which is just on the outskirts of Buckinghamshire in a village called Little Horwood.

Horwood House is such a beautiful hotel, from the moment I got to the hotel, I could sense the buzz and excitement from everyone. We still had a good few hours to go until the ceremony and everyone was getting ready.

I had been to the venue with Jocelyn and Dan earlier in the year for a pre-wedding shoot. This set a great foundation for the wedding and also meant that their daughter, Melissa, had remembered me and felt instantly comfortable with me.

The Bridesmaids wore gorgeous mint lace dresses which were complimented with stunning fresh flowers. The flower girls wore white and looked so cute!
It was raining, but we weren’t going to let get to us, with a gorgeous interior, we did what we could with the group shots so the guests didn’t get completely drenched and then when the rain eased, we headed outside and managed to get some gorgeous shots.

The beauty about being there all day is that we can skip outside when the weather suits  as well. Just after the wedding breakfast, the sun was setting so we got Jocelyn, Dan and Melissa out and got some great shots during the sunset.
So with hilarious, prop filled speeches out of the way, the party started and the moves began, one of my favourite parts of the day!

Here is a little selection of the day for Dan and Jocelyn, I hope you enjoy!! Video in separate blog to follow, you’ll need the music up for that one!! 🙂
