Kirsty and Dan – Chataeu Impney

When I was asked to be Kirsty and Dan’s wedding photographer, I was thrilled, the venue was stunning and Kirsty and Dan were so welcoming and lovely. I felt as though I was a guest at their wedding. I began the day with Kirsty and her bridal party whilst they were getting ready, the atmosphere was buzzing but also had a calm to it.

The venue was absolutely stunning, set in the Worcestershire countryside, the Chateau Impney makes for a great location for a wow chataeu wedding. It was a really fun wedding to photograph as it had such a fun, party atmosphere. I made a short edit for them during the wedding breakfast, to show the evening guests a snippet of the day. This went down really well with the guests and it was great to see them getting emotional all over again. Thats the best bit about my job!

“We just want to say a huge thank you to Gemma. The photos are just amazing and we couldn’t be happier with all of them. Gemma was brilliant to have with us through the day, most of the time we didn’t know she was there so some of the photos are just so natural which is exactly what we wanted. She was even there to help get me in my dress when we were struggling! 

We have had so many compliments on the photos and also how lovely Gemma was throughout the day! She even edited some images during the wedding breakfast so we could show our night guests some of the photos, which was fantastic.

On the day Gemma asked to take photos of us through my vail, which at the time, we thought was crazy, however they have turned out to be our favourite photos of the day, they are just stunning.

 I cannot thank Gemma enough for the day and everything that comes with it. To say I would highly recommend her is an understatement, we haven’t stopped hearing how much everyone loves the photos and how impressed they were with Gemma.”
