M + T – Garden Wedding

7th May, 2020 |

Mollie and Tomas’s garden wedding was set in the grounds of The Oathill, a gorgeous country pub in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The wedding was in a marquee at the bottom of their gardens, you went through a little arch in a row of trees at the end of the pub garden to get to it, it was like a secret garden, with its own private bar, pergola, where they had the wedding ceremony and garden space. It was very cute and very secluded and a beautiful spot to have an outdoor wedding.

Mollie got ready at her parents house with her mum, it was such a lovely and quiet setting, her dad even brought us sausage rolls after showing off his fabulous socks!
Once we were ready, we headed down to The Oathill, the setting was lovely and we were blessed with brilliant weather too.
As the ceremony was earlier in the day, and once the formalities were over, there was plenty of time to relax.

Thier cake was made by Mollie’s cousin Helen, it was delicious and featured the couple’s pet cats on top instead of a traditional topper, brilliant idea. After the wedding breakfast, Mollie got out those face cards, which was brilliant and got everyone talking, taking pictures together and got everyone laughing, a great addition to any down time at a wedding.
We had some great 90’s tunes and the father of the bride was well underway, throwing some shapes to get the party started

For a smallish wedding, this bunch were anything but quiet, they were hilarious. Brilliant speeches, they had set up a speaker to get the party started early, even when the DJ showed up at 8pm, he took one look at them and said, “they don’t need me do they”. I LOVED IT.

Such a fun day and a beautiful garden wedding.
