Mollie and Allen’s Wedding Photography

Bouncy castle shot, wedding photography

I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Allen and Mollie’s wedding in May. It was held entirely at the gorgeous Highgate House, a beautiful stately home in the Northamptonshire countryside, and is a great place for light, and I love light!

I went to Mollie’s parents house for the pre wedding photographs and was warmly welcomed by all her family and friends, as they were calmly getting ready. Chris was over with Allen at his parents house who welcomed him with as much warmth and joy.

The ceremony was beautiful and emotional and Allen’s nephew was just adorable when he went up to give them the rings.
After some pictures the guests quickly noticed the bouncy castle. I am a sucker for a bouncy castle, luckily for me, so are Mollie and Allen, so it took no persuasion at all to get the couple on for some photos, of which we managed to get some from the drone.

Along with the bouncy castle, there were some great personal touches to their wedding; they had an ice-cream van (of which you will see that I may have had one) as well as garden games and Allen’s very talented sister made the cake. They hung pictures of their parents’ and grandparents’ wedding days up which was a gorgeous touch and then we displayed some of the ceremony shots in the evening for the guests to have a sneak peek.

It was a lovely day for such a lovely couple. I honestly hope you both have the most wonderful life together!
The wedding took place in the Baronial Hall at Highgate House, which has fantastic windows. Mollie’s dress was from ‘Serendipity Brides’, her make up was done beautifully by Tanya at Desired Lengths and the flowers were made by ‘By Arrangement Flowers’
