Robyn and Tom’s Winter Wedding

1st August, 2018 |

Robyn and Tom had a really lovely winter wedding, expecting it to be cold, Robyn wore an absolutely beautiful, navy, fur lined cloak, I had truly not seen anything like it before at a wedding, and she looked stunning.
The wedding took place in a church in the St. James area of Northampton, and then onto the Harlestone Village Institute.

Having a winter wedding, the couple were not at all phased by the miserable weather, Robyn and Tom embraced the rain and fog and came out to have some images taken. So pleased that they did as the images we captured were beautiful. We used clear umbrellas to keep the majority of the rain off of them and when it had stopped, we went for a walk to the field that backs off the hall.

The details that Robyn and Tom had in place at the reception were so personal and spoke so much about their individual personalities. They had created their own cocktail, served in large glass water containers. There were photographs of the couple around the bar area, taken over the years they had been together.
The favours were handmade and personalised to each guests and Robyn even made the sweets and cakes on the desert table.

The evening music was being supplied by a number of their friends, as Tom was a keen DJ, there was an abundance of records on the stage to be played. The night was buzzing by the time we left. It was such a personal day.
